Behavior Management

October 25, 2023 10:00 am to 11:30 am

To successfully manage groups, practitioners need to understand the underlying causes of common behavior problems.

Registration will open 10/2.

In this online workshop, participants will explore these causes, learn developmentally appropriate strategies for managing challenging behaviors, and make links to program policies regarding dealing with these behaviors.

This session is part of the Foundational Series for Line Staff. These introductory sessions provide new line staff with the foundational information they need to support the healthy development of children and youth in afterschool programs. Each topic will be offered multiple times. Attendees register for individual sessions.
