Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; 2 years of professional experience in youth development; some college credits preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and electronic communication tools (internet, email).
  • Ability to multi-task and support Directors; experience with DOE or DYCD preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills.

Duties

Primary Function:
Ensure administrative compliance within the Community Education and Schools (CES) Department under the guidance of the Senior Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Draft and manage the division calendar, track deadlines and provide reminders to the team.
  • Track SACC Licenses, renewals and staff changes in partnership with HR Department.
  • Implement process for compliance with ordering and purchasing for all programs.
  • Coordinate with Programs, Finance, Purchasing, and Executive Members to process requests and ensure expenditure alignment with internal processes.
  • Coordinate with the Education Team to track CES staff training hours via Change Up Learning platform.
  • Work with program staff to develop projects, set goals and objectives, and establish timelines
  • Attend weekly meetings for Community Education and Schools programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Community Education and Schools.
