NYC Nonprofits Opportunity for New Website at No Cost

48in48, an Atlanta-based nonprofit, will host a hackathon this November 2016. They will join forces with local agencies and individual professionals from both the marketing and technology industry to build 48 websites for 48 nonprofits. Nonprofits with operating budgets of $3 million or less are eligible to apply to. More information and the online application can be found on the website. Applications are due June 30, 2016. Advanced Certificate in Youth Studies from CUNY

CUNY School for Professional Studies is offering a 12-credit, Advanced Certificate in Youth Studies. Youth Studies provides an opportunity to deepen one's understanding of the relationship of youth and society through critical thinking, research and writing. Via support from the Department of Youth and Community Development and the JFK Jr. Institute for Worker Education, scholarships will pay for half of the required classes. The certificate aligns with the first four courses of the MA in Youth Studies awaiting approval for Spring 2017. Application deadline for the program is July 27, 2016 and scholarship applications are due on July 15, 2016.
