2021 Global Kids Annual Youth Conference

Global Kids' annual youth-organized and youth-led conference will be held virtually on April 1, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM. This year's conference theme is "Government, Economic Equality, and Human Rights" and will bring together hundreds of young people from public schools and youth organizations for workshops on topics such as poverty criminalization, child labor, immigration, and other government instated human rights violations. Plenary sessions will feature speakers and creative performances and participants will develop strategies to create change on these important issues. La Fuerza de Familias Latinas National Campaign Launch

Literacy Partners' La Fuerza de Familias Latinas initiative offers workshops and educational media so that Spanish-speaking parents and caregivers of children ages 0-7 can strengthen the literacy skills they need to succeed in today’s world. Register for their campaign launch event on March 24, 2021 to learn about new digital resources that you can share with families, and join a national network to promote children's early learning.

COVID-19 Vaccine Education Series

United Community Centers will be hosting a COVID-19 Vaccine Education Series, Community Members Community Voices. The first session of the series will take place on March 17, 2021 from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM. The session will include a moderated discussion with a group of panelists.
