Partnership for After School Education

This workshop will cover the basics of conflict resolution and effective communication.

By exploring the roots of conflict, participants will gain new strategies not only for dealing positively with conflict, but also for helping children and youth manage conflicts. Participants will have the opportunity to practice conflict mediation skills through role-plays and active listening.

Katha Cato joined Henry Street over 17 years ago as part of the Abrons Arts Center teaching faculty. At that time, Mrs. Cato had been a step- mother for a little over 3 years and wanted to become immersed in youth programming to better understand her new role.
