At PASE, we believe the afterschool field’s superpower is its tremendous workforce. In that spirit, we host an annual PASEsetter Awards Benefit each winter to celebrate and amplify those who make afterschool in New York City transformative. We fondly describe the PASEsetter Awards Benefit as the “Academy Awards of Afterschool,” as it is a festive and joyous evening highlighting five outstanding afterschool educators who have made an indelible impact on New York City children and youth, and an afterschool champion, an individual who has made ongoing, substantial contributions to the youth-services field and children’s wellbeing.
