June 10, 2026 9:00 am to 12:30 pm

2026 Connecting CB Os and Higher Ed A College Forum and Fair Compact Email Header

Community-based organizations (CBOs) that serve first-generation, low-income college students play a vital role in helping young people prepare for, explore, gain admission to, succeed in, and graduate from college. Central to this work are strong partnerships between CBOs and college and university representatives.

In order to register for this event you need to or first.

About the Event

Co-sponsored by Barnard College, this unique in-person event brings together colleges, universities, and New York City CBO college-prep professionals to foster collaboration. The goal is to learn how to work most effectively together to support students in accessing, persisting through, and graduating from college.

The event begins with a panel discussion featuring leaders from higher education and CBOs focused on strategies for supporting college students. Following the panel, community-based educators and leaders will have the opportunity to connect directly with college and university representatives at the fair.
