Bridging Connections: Cultivating Meaningful CBO & Higher Ed Partnerships...

June 03, 2025 10:00 am to 11:30 am

Strong partnerships between community-based organizations (CBOs) and higher education institutions are critical in helping first-generation, low-income students thrive on the path to and through college.

In order to register for this event you need to or first.

Join us for a dynamic virtual workshop designed to equip CBO practitioners with tools and strategies to engage more meaningfully with college and university partners.

This session will provide space to explore practical approaches to build trust-centered relationships between CBOs and colleges/universities by reflecting on the organization’s current higher ed connections, identifying opportunities for new collaboration, and sharpening how to communicate the work and impact to potential partners.

We'll examine how to align missions, foster mutual understanding, and co-create solutions that enhance student outcomes, whether you’re initiating a new partnership or strengthening an existing one.

  • Strategies for initiating and sustaining meaningful CBO/higher ed collaborations
  • A framework for assessing your current partnerships with higher education institutions
  • Tools to align institutional goals and build collaborative relationships
  • Resources to engage purposefully with potential partners in the field

Ideal for practitioners working in or alongside college access programs, this virtual session offers a space to build new connections, exchange ideas, and walk away with actionable insights. Come ready to reflect, engage, and build!
