Developing Trauma-Informed Afterschool Spaces

March 25, 2026 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

In order to register for this event you need to or first.

This online interactive workshop is designed to help after school providers understand student traumatic stress, how it affects behavior and how organizations can shape spaces to meet the needs of all of their students.  In addition to psychoeducation on trauma and the introduction of concepts that support the development of trauma-informed spaces, this workshop will include concrete strategies that can be implemented immediately in afterschool programming.  This workshop is suitable for both supervisory and direct service staff and participants should come ready to discuss and participate.
