Find Your Rhythm: Summer of Saving

March 11, 2026 10:00 am to 11:30 am

Saving money is one of those things that sounds like it should be easy, but it can often be difficult and stressful.

In order to register for this event you need to or first.

Money is more than just numbers—it's emotional, mental, and deeply connected to our perspective on the world. How we feel about money influences what we do with our money. If we can understand our feelings, we can make better decisions about living well today while saving for the future. We'll be dealing with our feelings, the neuroscience behind them, the systemic factors that make saving money harder, and the shame that keeps us from making change. We'll use the numbers to guess & the arts to assess to build budgets we can believe in. We’ll leave with some savings principles, something worth saving for, something we love spending money on, and the confidence to use these tools to help ourselves and our students.

PASE believes all kids deserve a safe, nurturing space during out-of-school time where they have opportunities to explore their passions while connecting with and learning from caring adults. We exist to improve the quality of afterschool programs for children and teens living in poverty.
