Fostering Financial Literacy for Youth: Budgeting and Saving

March 11, 2025 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Money doesn't have to be something teens avoid talking about or managing effectively.

In order to register for this event you need to or first.

This online session will help you understand how to teach students to budget their money like a pro using the 20-70-10 rule.  You will also learn to teach strategies on how to save and finance education after high school so that students don’t take on more debt than they can handle.  Money doesn’t have to be scary and we’re here to help you show students that they can truly be masters of their money.

The Fostering Financial Literacy for Youth workshop series is designed to equip afterschool program staff with the knowledge, tools and resources to teach their youth to become financially savvy and in control of their financial futures.

PASE believes all kids deserve a safe, nurturing space during out-of-school time where they have opportunities to explore their passions while connecting with and learning from caring adults. We exist to improve the quality of afterschool programs for children and teens living in poverty.
