The PASEsetter Awards Benefit is an annual gala honoring five afterschool educators and an afterschool champion whose commitment, energy, and creativity have improved the lives of the youth of New York City.
The PASEsetter Awards, held at Cipriani 42nd Street on February 25th, honored five exemplary afterschool educators along with one Afterschool Champion, Tracy High, and raised over $500,000.
PASEsetter Awards are given to afterschool educators who demonstrate outstanding commitment, energy, and creativity in their work, and who achieve excellence in and exhibit true devotion to improving the lives of the young people in out-of-school time. Winners receive a crystal award, a $5,000 donation to their organization, and 100 Jets tickets for their youth and staff.
An audience of 425 people celebrated the 2016 PASEsetter Awards Benefit with the PASE, including afterschool providers, funders, corporate partners, higher education professionals, government officials, and other friends of PASE. Richard Buery, Deputy Mayor for Strategic Policy Initiatives, brought greetings from City Hall and congratulated the afterschool field.
