Program Design for Neurodiverse Participants

May 28, 2026 10:00 am to 11:30 am

A workshop for DYCD funded organizations.

In order to register for this event you need to or first.

In this online session, we will explore promising practices within accessibility and develop strategies to be inclusive of a wide variety of learners.

Youth and community programs aim to support people of various identities, learning styles, and abilities. Designing activities where everyone can participate and feel included is an essential part of that mission. Participants will explore the idea of Universal Design and discuss best practices for helping people with disabilities and learning differences thrive.

This workshop is intended for DYCD funded organizations. DYCD Staff are welcome. This professional development opportunity is provided at no cost to you but has a value of $230 for DYCD. If you register for and are subsequently unable to attend this session you are responsible for cancelling your registration or risk being waitlisted for future events.
