Director of Organizing

New Yorkers United for Child Care

Summary

About New Yorkers United for Child Care

New Yorkers United for Child Care (NYUC) is a growing movement of parents, would-be parents, and New Yorkers fighting to win free, universal child care for all. Through people-powered organizing, direct action, and strategic campaigns, we’ve won major victories—saving NYC’s universal 3-K program,  expanding free child care in New York City and State, and making child care a top city and statewide political issue. Now, with the Governor’s recent commitments to fund a Pre-K Guarantee state-wide and 2-Care in New York City, we are organizing to make those commitments real—and to win more.
