PASE's "Emerging Leaders in Nonprofit Management: A Course for Youth Program Professionals" is a comprehensive, twelve-session nonprofit management course which provides training to future executive leaders in NYC’s afterschool field, offered in partnership with the Baruch College School of Public Affairs.

The course began this month and concludes with Capstone presentations in February 2016, where the 27 students will join an alumni group of over 200. The students will learn about critical aspects of management, including organizational diagnosis, strategic planning, advocacy, government contracting, human resources, fundraising, performance measurement, leadership, board relations, public speaking, technology, and financial management and accounting.

This program is made possible through generous support from the American Express Foundation.

Emerging Leaders is part of PASE's Leadership initiative. Learn more.
