Global Kids' annual youth-organized and youth-led conference will be held on April 8, 2020 from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Hunter College. This year's conference theme is gender equity and will bring together over 500 young people from public schools and youth organizations for workshops on topics such as gender dynamics in the workforce, LGBTQIA+ rights, sexual exploitation, marriage and family life, health outcomes, and more. Plenary sessions will feature speakers and creative performances, and participants will develop strategies to create change on these important issues. The conference is a free full-day event.
