37th Annual Summer Writing Workshop at Youth Communication

Youth Communication is hosting its 37th annual intensive summer writing workshop. Participants receive one-on-one mentoring from a professional editor, write and revise personal stories about their lives, go on field trips, and make friends with other writers. The program helps teens explore their personal stories and how their experiences fit into the larger world. Their stories will be published in the award-winning YCteen and Represent magazines which are read by tens of thousands of people each year. No prior experience is required, but participants must be able to attend for all six weeks, from July 5 - August 11. Applications must be received by May 20, 2016.
