45th Annual Summer Writing Workshop for NYC Teens

Calling NYC youth aged 15-20 to join Youth Communication’s 45th annual summer writing workshop, which will focus on community and identity. The cohort of 12 chosen applicants will participate in writing lessons, discussions, and group activities from July 8, 2024 to August 15, 2024. Guest speakers and field trips will also deepen students' understanding of the theme. Participants will earn a $2,000 stipend for completing a publishable story and will receive a daily MetroCard to support the commute. Apply by May 6, 2024.
