Afterschool at Trans formative Schools

Trans formative Schools is a free afterschool program hosted in partnership with Brooklyn Community Pride Center that centers trans joy and social justice. Fall session runs from Monday, September 11, 2023 – Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM each day, with an opportunity to connect with peers during the community-building drop-in portion (2:30-3:15 PM) and take two hour-long structured classes (3:15-4:15 PM and 4:15-5:15 PM). On Mondays and Wednesdays, programming is offered in person at Brooklyn Community Pride Center's Crown Heights location (inside Major Owens Community Center) and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, programming is offered via Zoom. Space is limited to 100 students and applications should be submitted by September 1, 2023.
