Afterschool Meal Program Eligibility Requirements

Afterschool programs that operate in areas served by a public school that serves 50% or more students on free or reduced lunch may be eligible to be reimbursed for the healthy snacks and meals they serve. Programs that may qualify should read this fact sheet on the Afterschool Meal Program and this guide to what afterschool programs need to know about the program to learn more and consider participating. In addition, NYSAN and Hunger Solutions New York have prepared a detailed FAQ on afterschool meals.
