Brooklyn Interns for Arts & Culture at BAM

High school juniors develop college readiness and gain real-world work experience over the course of a year and a half in a paid internship program at BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music). Brooklyn Interns for Arts & Culture gain valuable skills, like creating a resume, having a successful job interview, and public speaking and presentation. Interns participate in weekly career development workshops, work under the supervision of a BAM employee in BAM’s administrative offices, receive one-on-one mentoring, and attend Q&A lunches with executive staff. Participating students will also receive free SAT prep classes. All students must complete an online application and interview in order to be considered for the program. No previous experience is required. Application deadline is November 30, 2017.
