bbLeaders Fellowship with Building Beats

This year, Building Beats is launching the bbLeaders Fellowship, a free year-long program for NYC public high school students (grades 10–12, ages 15–18) running from November 2026 through June 2027 at BRIC Arts Media in Brooklyn. Participants choose between two tracks, Music Production or DJing, and meet after school two days a week (4:30 PM – 6:30 PM). They will build hands-on technical skills, work with industry mentors, explore career pathways, and present a final project at the June 2027 Showcase. Fellows in the DJ track also gain opportunities for paid gigs through the Building Beats DJ Agency. No prior music or DJ experience is required.
