Bronx Documentary Center Summer Photography Program

The Bronx Junior Photo League summer program is a free six-week-long zine and photobook making class for students entering the 6 - 12 grades. All experience levels are welcome and cameras and materials are provided by the Bronx Documentary Center. The class will meet twice a week to visit galleries and photograph throughout the five boroughs. Students will learn about the history of and how to make zines, how to use InDesign, and how to make a handmade photobook featuring their work. The program will culminate with a book-sharing celebration and BBQ with the students and their families. Applications are due by June 2, 2019. Download a flyer.
