Changing the Odds: A Community Vision for Why Education Equity Matters and What We Should Do About It.

#DegreesNYC has released a new report, Changing the Odds: A Community Vision for Why Education Equity Matters and What We Should Do About It. This report examines the 10-year trajectory of 65,000 9th graders who began in New York City public schools in 2008. It details heartbreaking systemic racial disparities, yet holds out for hope that change is coming. It concludes with recommendations and a call to action on how together we can usher in that change.
