Civic Engagement Youth Programs

Join YVote and Next Generation Politics for their summer of peer-led civic programming. If you’re a high school student in NYC, or across the country, who is interested in learning more about the issues you care about, creating a stronger and healthier democracy, engaging with diverse perspectives and peers, and developing your advocacy and activism skills, then you should apply. There are three programs for you to choose from: Democracy Camp (in person, June 27, 2023 - July 1, 2023), YVote Summer Change Makers Institute (in person, Tuesdays from July 2023 - August 2023), and Next Gen Summer Civic Fellowship (virtual, Wednesdays from July 2023 - August 2023). Learn more about all three and apply here.

PASE believes all kids deserve a safe, nurturing space during out-of-school time where they have opportunities to explore their passions while connecting with and learning from caring adults. We exist to improve the quality of afterschool programs for children and teens living in poverty.
