Youth Media Residencies with DCTV

DCTV’s Youth Media Residencies are now open for inquiries. For almost 50 years, DCTV has empowered thousands of NYC students through hands-on training in filmmaking, media literacy, and digital storytelling. Now, your school or organization can host a custom low-cost, flexible afterschool residency for 8th-12th grade students, led by DCTV’s professional teaching artists. Focus areas include documentary production, narrative storytelling, editing, and more, and content can be aligned to NYS learning standards. Past student work examples include: 2022 Summer Media Intensive, 2019 US-Japan Middle School Experience, and 2017 NJPAC Filmmakers Program. Reach out to the DCTV Youth Media team at protv@dctvny.org to learn more and to bring this powerful opportunity to your students.
