Designing for Engagement: The Experiences of Tweens in the Boys & Girls Clubs’ Youth Arts Initiative

The Wallace Foundation released a new report by McClanahan Associates and Research for Action called, Designing for Engagement: The Experiences of Tweens in the Boys & Girls Clubs’ Youth Arts Initiative. The report documents the efforts of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), a federation of more than 4,000 clubhouses around the country, as it establishes new arts programs for tweens. The report details the successes of BGCA's efforts, the challenges clubhouses faced and recommendations for other youth-serving organizations contemplating similar programs.
