EMOTI-CON! 2017

The 9th Annual Emoti-Con takes place June 17, 2017 at Bartos Forum, New York Public Library. Emoti-Con is NYC's biggest showcase for young designers, makers, technologists, and tinkerers who believe in digital innovation as a tool for positive change in the world around them. Students in grades 6-12 or enrolled in a GED program are invited to sign up, either as individuals or teams. All students will present their work science-fair style and will engage with peers to forge new network connections and also receive feedback from industry-professional judges who are leaders in various areas of the media and technology industry. Students can also elect to be part of the competition to earn digital badges and awards. The deadline to submit a project application is May 26, 2017. Register via the event website.
