Free Poetry Workshop for Young Women aged 14+ in the South Bronx
Silence Out Loud is a free, 11-week poetry and spoken word workshop led by poet Roya Marsh offered through New Settlement’s Program for Girls & Young Women. The workshop meets Thursday evenings, 5:30 pm – 7: 00 pm, April 12-June 21, 2018 at 1525 Townsend Avenue, Bronx 10452. This workshop is designed for young women ages 14 – young adult. Participants may be enrolled after the first class, space permitting. New participants will need to complete an enrollment packet, but may bring it with them to the first session.
