Free Spring Arts & Leadership Classes for Young Women in the Bronx
New Settlement's Program for Girls & Young Women offers free classes for girls ages 11-Young Adult after-school, evenings and Saturdays. Prospective participants are invited to attend an orientation, with or without a guardian, on January 23, 2019, 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm at 1514 Townsend Ave, Bronx, NY 10452. Classes begin the week of January 23 and include dramatic writing and performance, leadership, STEM, hip-hop dance, college access, performance poetry, adventure learning trips, a Spring Break Arts Intensive, and more. Young women in high school may earn a stipend for some classes. Download and enrollment packet in English or Spanish.
