Guide to Mentoring Boys and Young Men of Color

Guide to Mentoring Boys and Young Men of Color serves as a supplement to the fourth edition of Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring™, and includes additional recommended practices focusing on boys and young men of color (BYMOC). MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership and My Brother’s Keeper Alliance together sponsored the creation of a guide which focuses on practices and resources useful to any mentoring program serving BYMOC and will help them ensure that their services are culturally relevant and effective in changing lives and communities.

PASE believes all kids deserve a safe, nurturing space during out-of-school time where they have opportunities to explore their passions while connecting with and learning from caring adults. We exist to improve the quality of afterschool programs for children and teens living in poverty.
