Here to Listen Website

Youth Communication has launched a new website, Here to Listen, which offers expert guidance, stories, and activities to help youth workers and educators talk with young people about mental health challenges and difficult emotions. The website's Expert Advice section consists of advisory board of mental health professionals and educators giving tips on how to successfully support teens and connect them to professional mental health services. The True Stories by Teens index helps adults better understand and empathize with the youth they serve, and helps teens see how their peers got help, which can result in them feeling less stigma around their mental health challenges. The Activities for Youth section helps to explore the feelings that emerge from reading one of the teen-written stories and to build social and emotional learning.
