In My Own Words: Free Spring Break Arts Intensive for Young Women in the Bronx
In My Own Words is a free, six-day intensive arts workshop offered by New Settlement’s Program for Girls & Young Women in the South Bronx, incorporating music, spoken word poetry, theater and film-making for young women, ages 13 - 18. The program meets April 22 – April 27, 2019, includes a two-night retreat in Carmel, NY, and culminates in a live performance and screening on April 27, 2019 in the Bronx.
