IN MY WORDS: Spring Break Arts Intensive for Young Women in the Bronx
IN MY WORDS is a free, week-long, intensive arts workshop offered by New Settlement Apartments' program for girls and young women, ages 13 - 18, in the South Bronx, incorporating music, poetry, art, storytelling and filmmaking. The program meets April 2 - April 7, 2018 at 1525 Townsend Avenue, Bronx, NY 10452 and includes a two-night artist retreat in Carmel, NY. It culminates with a live performance or original work on April 7, 2018. Application deadline is March 2, 2018. Space is limited.
