On January 23, 2015, Gale Brewer, Manhattan Borough President, is holding an information session for youth interested in applying to join one of Manhattan's 12 community boards. Sixteen- and seventeen-year-olds are eligible to join community boards for the first time this year. At the information session, youth will learn more about how community boards work and how they can get involved. Registration is required.
