Leaders Training for Work Readiness Curriculum

Youth Communication (YC) is hosting a Leaders Training for their new work readiness curriculum, On My Way, on February 15, 2017 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm in New York, NY. On My Way strengthens the social and emotional skills that young people need to succeed at work: including self-awareness, decision-making, and communication. The work readiness skills in On My Way are presented through true, personal stories told by New York City teenagers— all developed in YC's rigorous teen writing program. The teens in your program will recognize themselves in YC's teen writers and immediately trust them. Starting with true stories by fellow teens helps discussions about effective communication, conflict resolution, and other soft skills feel less abstract and more concrete. Seats are limited and registration is required. For pricing structure and info click here.

PASE believes all kids deserve a safe, nurturing space during out-of-school time where they have opportunities to explore their passions while connecting with and learning from caring adults. We exist to improve the quality of afterschool programs for children and teens living in poverty.
