New York Academy of Science's ​1000 Girls, 1000 Futures​

The New York Academy of Science's 1000 Girls, 1000 Futures is an innovative virtual program designed to get more women into STEM-related careers in order to help solve the biggest global challenges of our time. Female students, ages 13-19, will be matched with a female STEM mentor who will help them develop leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills, while also preparing them for college. Candidates will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout the fall of 2016 and will be required to complete a training component before being matched with a mentor. Application deadline is October 7, 2016.
