​New York Public Library's TechConnect

New York Public Library's TechConnect is launching free S.T.E.A.M. coding clubs for children and youth ages 7-14 this fall. The kickoff event, Summer Coding Day, August 20, 2016 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, will introduce the Code Your Story program, where students can create interactive stories with Google CS First using MIT Scratch. At Summer Coding Day, participants will get to try out the curriculum and pre-register for the Code Your Story coding clubs at their local library branches.
