New York State Network for Youth Success: Power of 3:00 Ambassadors

The New York State Network for Youth Success has launched their statewide Power of 3:00 Ambassador program: a cohort of eight passionate afterschool providers and supporters from across New York who will work directly with staff from the Network’s Policy Department to develop the advocacy and media skill set to become an effective advocate for the children and youth they serve. This is an all-expenses paid, year long advocacy program. Ambassadors will be required to attend one day-long training in August, host one Lights on Afterschool event on National Lights On Afterschool Day, attend the Network's annual Advocacy Day, host a springtime advocacy event, and participate in Power of 3:00 Ambassador update calls. Applications are due May 19, 2017 at 5:00 pm.

PASE believes all kids deserve a safe, nurturing space during out-of-school time where they have opportunities to explore their passions while connecting with and learning from caring adults. We exist to improve the quality of afterschool programs for children and teens living in poverty.
