Culinary Program

Queens Connect is offering training and certification through their culinary program for 18 - 24 year olds. The culinary program offers young adults 6-weeks of hands-on culinary training along with virtual workforce readiness classes. Enrolled participants also take the NYC Food Protection course in preparation for the NYC food protection exam. After the first 6-weeks of training, eligible participants are offered a 6-week paid internship in the culinary field and or the opportunity to transition into the retail training program. The next cohort will begin on December 13, 2021. All interested in joining or learning more are encouraged to join their weekly virtual open house on Tuesdays at 2:00 PM. For more information, contact Angela Ayora.
