Octavia Project Free Summer Institute

The Octavia Project Summer Institute is a free summer enrichment program where young women and trans, nonbinary, and/or gender non-conforming youth from Brooklyn, ages 14-18 years old, explore science fiction and fantasy in workshops that combine science, tech, art, and creative writing. The month-long program runs from July 2 – August 2 and is held at the Pratt Institute MFA in Writing Community Space on Classon Avenue in Brooklyn. Applications are welcome on a rolling basis until May 31, 2019.
