Refugees and Immigrants in Schools Course

Are you looking to gain knowledge and strategies to create inclusive learning environments and better support refugee and immigrant students? The CUNY Initiative on Immigration and Education has a Refugees and Immigrants in Schools CTLE course that explores the experiences of refugees and other forcibly displaced migrant groups, equipping educators to enhance student learning in diverse educational, cultural, and social settings. Educators will earn a total of fifteen (15) CTLE credits upon successful completion of the module. The virtual sessions will be held on Monday evenings between March 10, 2025 and March 24, 2025, with an additional 6.5 hours of asynchronous group and independent work.
