SABOR & RITMO: International Family Day of Dance
Join the Museum of the City of New York on May 13, 2017 from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm for a day of interactive learning. Ritmo & Sabor: International Family Day of Dance spotlights dance cultures that shape our diverse city and explores themes featured in the Museum's upcoming exhibition Rhythm & Power: Salsa in New York, opening June 13, 2017. Learn New York salsa with Balmir Latin Dance Studio, Puerto Rican bomba with Milteri Tucker of Bombazo Dance Company, kizomba with DJ Elmano and B-More Kizomba, and much more. Enjoy open-level workshops, family activities for all-ages, and a dance party culminating with live music from Gerardo Contino y Los Habaneros. This program is for dancers of all levels and ages.
