Sharing History Initiative

Voice of Witness's 2023-2024 Sharing History Initiative (SHI) is offering free sets of their human rights oral history books and lesson plans exploring issues of injustice. Applicants can choose from a selection of eight oral history collections, including narratives focused on racial and economic injustice, migration, Indigenous experiences, public housing, climate disaster, and more. Teachers, nonprofits, and advocates can apply to SHI now through May 31, 2023 to combat educational censorship and amplify marginalized voices.
