Sound Thinking NYC - Music Industry Program for High School Students

The Creative Arts Team (CAT) at City University of New York offers a free program, Sound Thinking NYC, that provides opportunities for young people - especially young women in high school - to explore career opportunities in the music industry. The program includes a three-week Summer Intensive program in July, school year workshops, paid internships in the music industry, and opportunities to enroll in CUNY College Now courses. The program is funded by the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment. Applications for the Summer Intensive, open to any New York City student who will be entering 11th grade fall 2018, are due by May 21, 2018.
