Apply to the Willie Mae Music Lab

Willie Mae Music Lab is a year-round, community music, and mentoring program. Programming takes place at 87 Irving Place, Brooklyn, NY 11238, students do not need prior musical experience, and tuition is based on a sliding scale. All classes are taught by experienced women (transgender & cisgender) and gender non-conforming musicians and educators drawn from the Willie Mae Rock Camp volunteer base. Applications are still open for Session 2 that runs March 19 - May 25, 2018 from 4:30-6:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The cycle runs on the DOE calendar with vacations and school-days off. Girls (transgender & cisgender) and gender non-conforming youth ages 8-18 are welcome to apply.
