Youth Food Advocates 2021-2022

The Youth Food Advocates (YFA) 2021-2022 application is now open. YFA is a youth-led group for young people to learn about social justice, public policy and advocacy, and to create systemic change in NYC food systems, with a focus on improving school food. Youth will work in a fun and collaborative environment with other young people from across the City. Members develop advocacy skills through hands-on actions, learn valuable leadership skills, and create meaningful change for food justice across the NYC public school food program. YFA Member meetings will take place on Wednesdays from September 2021 - June 2022. Applications are now being accepted.
