Young Women's Initiative Report Recommendations

Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito and the New York City Council launched the Young Women's Initiative (YWI) to identify the gaps in services for young women age 12-24, with a focus on women of color. The YWI brought together leaders and organizers who work with teens and young adults and advocate for them in all aspects of our society, with the goal of crafting policy recommendations that address racial, gender and other disparities.
