Youth for Equity and Solidarity Council

The NYC Commission on Human Rights is looking for new members to join the Youth for Equity and Solidarity Council (YES). YES is comprised of young leaders who are interested in addressing human rights issues in New York City. Council members will be tasked with organizing youth-focused programming and events, providing information about discrimination that youth are facing, and giving recommendations and feedback on engaging New York City youth. They are seeking youth between the ages of 14-21 who are interested in serving as advocates for their peers and communities, passionate about human rights, and committed to advancing social justice. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2023.
