Youth Leadership Council Application Now Live

Currently enrolled, New York City high school students (ages 14-21) are invited to join a NYC Service Youth Leadership Council (YLC). YLCs address crucial City issues and catalyze authentic change in communities across all five boroughs through a combination of policy, practice, and/or advocacy service. Councils are run in partnership with schools, City agencies, and community-based organizations throughout NYC, and need high school students to share their stories, passions, and ideas. Youth do not need the best grades or prior leadership experience to join today and make a difference. By joining a YLC, students will have the opportunity to team up with other young New Yorkers and develop the tools and skills to put their ideas into action. Reach out to NYC Service at NYCYLC@cityhall.nyc.gov for further information. Apply via the YLC online application.
